I’m a Mom, Pastor’s wife, Pastor, rodeo cowboy’s wife, rancher, homemaker, the list goes on just like so many other women. Our hats are sometimes more numerous than the hours of a day it seems. As Christians we all need to take time to enjoy life and live it well.
Living Uniquely Normal is not a typical blog. It’s an insiders look into living as a Christian in a time when Christianity is becoming less and less popular. It is about “being” a Christian instead of “doing” Christianity on Sunday mornings or in times of convenience. It’s about discovering who you are and living that life without becoming someone else’s idea of what a Christian should look like. It’s about getting back up when the world pushes you down, again and again and again.
Follow your dreams with confidence, remembering the Living God who created you and knows you better than you do. When we are who we are created to become then all the world’s trouble leave us. Obedience to God’s Word and making Jesus the Lord of your life is all it takes. But it will cost you your life. Are you willing to give it to Him so He can make this one better for you?
One time a lady told me that if I wanted to be involved in her ministry I had to dress a certain way, like her. I had to speak a certain way, like her. Believe it when I say that I gave it a very valiant effort. But we are all created who we are and not clones of someone else. I am who I am. I am nothing more and nothing less. Therefore, what you see is what you get, flaws and all.
I hope Living Uniquely Normal blesses you as you discover your uniquely normal life.
